Our Super Techno 30 is always configured to support 16mm and 35mm Film, Professional Video, Digital Video and High Definition Cameras as well as some Large Format (65mm and IMAX) cameras and our remote Z- Head can control 3 axis of camera movement; Pan Tilt and Roll
What’s more, the unique nature of the Super Techno 30 allows all of the Swing and Boom moves offered by any fixed length arm from 7 to 30 feet, but additionally offers the ability to TELESCOPE at up to 10 feet per second during the shot!

This additional axis of movement allows for STRAIT LINE CAMERA MOVES, and CAMERA MOVES AROUND AND OBJECT, without the need to put the crane’s base on track.

The classic “Wheels” interface is standard for the Film Camera Operator with the joystick control becoming and increasingly popular option for operators who prefer it. For the Broadcast Camera Operator, an integrated Joystick control desk manages all of the remote head functions as well as focus and zoom, and camera on/off.

For Film Style shoots, all lens functions: Focus, Zoom and Iris can be controlled remotely via a wireless handheld unit, allowing the Camera Assistant the mobility to be next to the camera at all times. This unit can also control camera on/ off functions, or the on/ off function, as well as zoom, can be offered at the control desk.
The Super Techno 30 arrives to your location pre assembled in a custom built trailer that includes everything you will need to accomplish your shot. An onboard generator can provide power to the crane up to 150 feet away. 40 feet of Track and Track wheels, cribbing, wedges and scags are onboard, along with all of the custom cables, rigging gear and systems required to build almost any camera in any configuration, anywhere! Some specialty gear or extra equipment may be required for specific circumstances, but our philosophy is to provide a complete “Turnkey” package to realize every requirement for almost every shot. No more depending on a grip truck for a crane shot!
The crane arrives completely assembled except for the remote head and weights. The modular remote head can be configured for either 2 or 3 axis of motion and is custom assembled to best manage the camera you are using. Total assembly time can vary from 1/2 to 2 hours depending on the camera and configuration of the head, allowing you to be rolling in an extremely short amount of time after call.

Although most setups do not require track, 40 feet of track is on the trailer, billed as used, with an additional 100 feet of rail available at our shop. Please request additional track if needed when ordering, as we will have to load it before the job.
All of our technicians have many years of experience swinging cranes and jibs of every type, and are required to stay current on various remote heads and cranes as the market changes. Most are members of I.A.T.S.E. Studio Mechanics Local 476, The Cinematographers Guild Local 600, NABET Local 41, or all 3, attesting to their knowledge of cranes, cameras, focus systems and remote heads, and are available to assist the camera and grip department with the appropriate construction of the crane and mounting of the camera for your shot.
For Feature Films, Commercials, Music Videos, Broadcast Television, Sporting and Musical Events, even Industrial, Educational and Religious productions, the Super Techno 30 can fulfill all of your camera crane needs faster and more efficiently than any other crane available!
